Membership Application Form

Because the success of the NZCAC is fully dependent on the participation of the widest possible representation of individuals or organisations involved in animal welfare, membership to the Council has been structured to be within easy reach of anyone interested in progressing the principles extrapolated by the NZ Companion Animal Council.

There are three categories of membership available, each extending for 12 months from April every year. Membership benefits include an active involvement in the business of Council, discounted rates for conferences, and website links for member organisations. The NZCAC is only as effective as its membership allows and for this reason membership fees are kept at a minimum to encourage participation. The animals and the Council need your membership and your involvement.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

*Organisations @ $ 50.00 p.a.*	Organisations may nominate a spokesperson (with an alternate) who have voting rights at Council meetings.
*Individual @ $ 25.00 p.a.*	Individuals, either from member organisations or in their own right, are welcome. At Council meetings individuals have speaking but not voting rights, however as the policy of the Council is to seek consensus decisions amongst all members healthy discussion will influence most outcomes.
*Students / Senior Citizens @ $ 15.00 p.a.*	Both of these categories are welcomed (please provide details of status). Neither of these groups have voting rights on Council, however input from these members is welcomed in open discussions.
